Annuities can be an effective part of a client’s overall retirement plan beyond a 401(k) or IRA. We provide a variety of investment choices through more than 30 providers offering variable, fixed and indexed options.
Insurance products are offered through nonbank insurance agency affiliates of Wells Fargo & Company and are underwritten by unaffiliated insurance companies. Variable annuities are long-term investments appropriate for retirement funding and are subject to market fluctuations and investment risk. Fixed annuities may have a higher initial interest rate which is guaranteed for a limited time period only. At the end of the guarantee period, the contract may renew at a lower rate. Unlike variable annuities, fixed indexed annuities are typically structured so that they are not securities registered with the SEC. Nor are the sales in indexed annuities regulated by the SEC or FINRA Regulation, Inc.
Liability management plays an important role in helping clients reach their goals. We offer access to securities-based lending products and provide referrals to banking or lending specialists to help advisors manage both sides of a client’s balance sheet and broaden the services they provide.
